Dressage Dreams
As a child, I always dreamed of riding horses but it never quite happened—except for a less-than-stellar trail ride Southern Missouri when I was 13. So when my daughter Finley expressed interest in riding at the age of 5 in 2018, I was thrilled for her to pursue that dream. After watching her ride for about a year, I decided to take lessons at her barn twice a month, which quickly escalated to once a week and then to two lessons a week for myself. In2020, we welcomed our first horse, Ms. Ivy Pearl, and in 2022 we were gifted our sweet boy Mojo. In 2023, we faced some challenges with Ms. Ivy's diet and a leg injury, but we're back to practicing Dressage, hoping to advance beyond Intro Level! I say this with the utmost love and respect for all of us who have felt stuck at any level for too long.

Ivy Pearl
Ms. Ivy is a Thoroughbred Percheron American Warmblood that we bought in 2020 at the age of 15. Ivy is a wonderful girl that is learning the basics of dressage.
Royal Aurea "Ari"
We retired my sweet gelding Mojo Summer of 2024. My mare Ivy is also a bit older so I have been making plans for when she eventually retires. In Nov. of 2024 I purchased a two year old Oldenburg Filly as a Dressage Prospect. She is definitely keeping me on my toes... More to come on her adventures.
