French Braised Beef on Gruyere and Swiss Toast

When the movie Julie and Julia came out I became captivated with the recipes being cooked in the movie. Cooking is my love language so this was right up my alley. Shortly after watching the movie, I order Julia's Cookbook: Mastering the Art of French Cooking. In serval weeks I casually read the cookbook while watching TV and for 5 Years it was a staple on my kitchen counter. If it wasn't for Julia's Beef Bourguignon Recipe I would not be so comfortable improvising Braised Beef Meals. This Beef was delightful over seasoned cheese toast.
