Spicy Sausage Pasta

Easy Meal for a Tuesday Evening:

  • 9 oz Pasta (Used Jovial Organic Penne Gluten Free Pasta)

  • 12 oz Spicy Sausage

  • Half a Bell Pepper Chopped ( I like Orange Bell Peppers)

  • Half a Red Onion Chopped

  • 3-4 Green Onions Chopped

  • 1-2 Oz Jarlsberg Cheese Shredded

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


  1. Heat Large Pan on Medium Heat and Boil Water in Large Pot.

  2. Once water boils add Noodles, and if pan is hot add Spicy Sausage to Pan.

  3. Cook Sausage all the way through and browned.

  4. Remove Sausage from Pan leaving grease in pan, add chopped onions and pepper. Add 1 Tablespoon Butter to pan. Lightly salt and let brown for 2-3 min. (Note if pan is too hot- adjust temp)

  5. Check Noodles for doneness and coordinate with sautéd veggies and cooked sausage. If onions and peppers are done and noodles are still cooking remove pan from heat. Return to heat when noodles are done.

  6. When noodles are done, add to cooked onions and pepper. Then add spicy sausage, chopped green onions, Jarlsberg Cheese, 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil (feel free to add a bit more if pasta appears dry) Salt and Pepper to Taste.

  7. Servea 2-3 Adults :)
